MITT FLIPPED, BUT HE NEVER FLOPPED!

The liberal media and anti-Mitt Republicans have succeeded brilliantly in their smear campaign designed to brand Mitt Romney as a "flip flopper." Yet I wonder if all these people flunked geometry. A flip flop is a 360 degree turn. A flip, on the other hand, is a 180 degree turn. In Mitt's case, he never flip-flopped on abortion or gay marriage. But he did flip. And I'm glad he flipped. At one point Mitt believed it was not government's role to interfere in such decisions (although privately he has always disapproved of abortion and gay marriage). However, Mitt finally saw the error of his ways. And he was man enough to admit he was wrong. Can't we all identify with this? Haven't we all been firmly in support of something only to later flip to a more enlightened view, just as firmly held? And so it is I say: he who has never flipped, let him cast the first stone! Mitt should be commended for admitting he was wrong and changing course. Lest anyone forget, the great Ronald Reagan was once pro-choice. Yet, like Mitt, he realized he was wrong and he flipped! Of course Reagan went on to become one of the most effective pro-life presidents in history. If Mitt Romney is elected I firmly believe he will be the one responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade. He has promised to to do this. Given his record of fulfilled promises in Massachusetts, I have every reason to believe he will.
