Firefighters Attack Giuliani - Rudy's Run is Over

Various firefighter groups have come out with a devistating video blaming Rudy and his administration for a series of egregious errors that led to unnessesary deaths of firefighters on 9/11. The video is heartwrenching and really brings you back to the somber October days of 2001. My heart really goes out to the families of firefighters and civilian victims of 9/11, and this video is a powerful reminder of the sacrifice that was made by these brave Americans.

At the same time, however, this video is absolutely brutal towards Rudy. It would be a waste of time for me to try to describe how devistating this video will be for Rudy's campaign - you'll have to see it for yourself...

Mark my words: Right or wrong, this video will bring Rudy down.

it's intense all right. i don't think you can be so sure this single video production will ruin Rudy. Wait 'til the shock value wears off for you. We had goofy radios in law enforcement too, faulty equipment, there are some physical limitiations to some types of equipment. There has got to be another side to this, no one would be as calloused and careless as they're making Rudy out to be. I hope. If the shock of 9-11 can wear off with the US public, so can this tragic detail.

The impact of this video and this group will depend on how energetic they are in their campaign against Rudy. If they are like the Swift Boat folks, Rudy's toast.

Also, isn't it interesting that the media hasn't given this as much airtime as it deserves? Think about it: the liberal media actualy like Rudy and don't run the story. The "conservative" media, duped into thinking Rudy is the only Republican with a chance in a general election, is also reluctant to run this story.

But I have a hunch it will get more traction, and Rudy's shaky supporters will bail...
