During his eight years in the Senate, the only peice of major legislation that Fred was involved with was bad for America, and it may cost him once Americans find out:

The McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill, championed by Fred Thompson, is the only important piece of legislation where he played a major role. And that is not an accomplishment to be proud of as a conservative.
